On Sunday, April 8, a congregation Voters’ Meeting was held at our Resurrection Campus. There were two main agenda items:
1.) Call teacher to backfill Anita Krienke’s position at Resurrection Lutheran School
The Voters agreed to call Scott Luepke to fill the open teacher position. Scott currently lives in Rochester and is a Teacher at John Adams Middle School. Scott had attended Martin Luther College for three year; however, completed an accounting degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN. In 2016, Scott received his Bachelor of Science in Education from Winona State, majoring in Elementary Education (K-6). If Scott were to accept the call, he would work to complete his synod certification. Scott has a strong background in Mathematics. Please keep Scott and our school in your prayers as Scott deliberates where he might best serve the Lord!
2.) Renew 1-year call to Dianne Thompson (Kindergarten)
Dianne is currently enrolled in the synod certification program. While pursuing certification, teachers serve under a “provisional call” which means that the call is to be renewed annually. Dianne is in her final year in completing the certification. The Voters agreed to renew the 1-year call to Dianne Thompson (Kindergarten). Please keep Dianne in your prayers as she continues to serve us as our Kindergarten teacher!
In Christ Alone,
Daryl Schultz, Resurrection & Life Lutheran President
